CEC Research Seminar with Melissa Marselle | The Interconnections between Climate Change, Biodiversity Loss, and Mental Health

Join us on 26 February when we get to hear Melissa Marselle from the University of Surrey, UK, present her research.
Climate change, biodiversity loss, and human health are deeply intertwined. Rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and wildfires not only threaten ecosystems and species survival but also have severe consequences for human physical and mental well-being. At the same time, nature offers powerful solutions—green spaces, urban parks, and street trees can help mitigate climate change while promoting well-being. This talk explores these complex interconnections from a psychological perspective, highlighting both the risks posed by environmental degradation and the benefits of nature for human well-being.
