ClimBEco annual meetings
The annual summer and winter meetings are highlights in our interdisciplinary agenda. We gather twice a year to network, listen to inspiring guests, and engage in discussions and workshops.
The 2024 ClimBEco summer meeting will take place on September 25-27 in Helsingborg.
The nature of the urban: sustainability challenges in the city
Urban spaces are sites where environmental challenges take on their most human faces.
City planning must balance care for the very local and the very global, provide for the individual and the heterogenic mass, now and in the future. This, in a world where climate change and biodiversity loss are taking ever more precedence in order to meet these agendas.
At this ClimBEco summer meeting we will look at the confluence of some classic sustainability challenges in the space where most people in the world live - cities.
